What brand of golf clothing do you usually wear for your rounds? Do you wear it for comfort or style?
Personally, I prefer Nike clothing to all others. They have such simple clothing, yet it looks great, and it's so comfortable.

I actually wear my everyday clothes from Abercrombie, although never jeans on the course. Usually just a an Abercrombie polo and khaki shorts.

I wouldn' mind picking up some Under Armour dry fit type polos for those hot days

It depends where I'm going, if I'm got a really fancy course I'll wear like an IZOD shirt or something, but if I'm just going to my home course which isnt that great, ill wear a nike or adidas mock turtleneck, or a abercrombie or american eagle polo...

I started a thread like this over in the golf talk section... its really interesting how people approach fashion. I'm the type of person who treats every round, no matter where I am, like the final round at Augusta National. I never wear shorts, no matter how hot it is.

In terms of shirts I wear a number of brands but always a golf polo, either a mock or a three button polo. I've picked up a couple of Under Armour shirts this summer and they are very nice but they don't exactly work like people talk about them. They are a lot cooler than a traditional cotton polo but half way through my round I'm still soaked with sweat.

I like Nike for clothes. I love their DryFit line, it's so comfortable as well as classy.

I used wear Abercrombie polo, but due to its muscle fit, it's kind of uncomfortable when swinging. But now I always wear Lacoste polo with more loose fit. And I'm thinking of wearing JL someday when I'm ready for new look.

I see a lot of the tour pros and other guys at the course wearing those loose shirts with the sleeves past the elbow. I find that the longer sleeves are uncomfotable, and I actually find the muscle fit ones to interfere less.

I guess it's all just personal preference.

I just picked up one of these Under Armor shirts a few weeks back and I have to say that it is great! It is so light and cool even when it is hot and humid. $60 sort of sucks but I am beginning to think it might be worth it.

Otherwise I usually wear Nike, American Eagle, Gap polos and khaki shorts.

I picked up two styles of golf shirt on sale at JC Penny's a few months ago: Dockers golf and PGA Tour branded. They're both cut long so you can leave them tucked in but still pulled out enough to swing comfortably. The PGA Tour brand shrunk like crazy (yes I followed the washing instructions) but the Dockers were fine.

I like to dress "professionally" on the course, meaning I generally wear pants and nice shirts. I'm a fan of any clothing that is light and breathes well.

What are good websites for purchasing golf clothing?

I live in England so I don't know if this will be any use to anyone on this site, but I find American Golf great for clothes. Also, for stylish trousers and some shirt, Sub Seventy is amazing.

I like Callaway and Adidas golf shirts (with Climacool and similar fabrics). These shirts breathe real well in the hot Florida sun and they seem to fit me better than Nike or other brands.
