The whole premise around the TS is that you must have a forward leaning shaft is order to get the ball off the ground.
- Nice ball flight = great impact position/ forward leaning shaft/ hitting down on the ball
- Worm burner = poor impact position/ flipping
I purchased the Tour Striker 8 (entry level). It’s a wonderful moment when you start hitting nice high shots and you think you’ve cracked it.
Unfortunately it’s not quite as simple as that. My initial optimism waned significantly when my pro recorded me hitting a good shot and I saw that I was still flipping.
My gut feeling is that it’s a pretty good training aid, but not quite as good as it’s made out to be. It will punish a bad swing but won’t force you to get into the perfect impact position. i.e. It doesn’t do what the infomercial tells you it will do
