Need some advice. Ive been hitting left lately. Its not hooking it just goes left in a straight line like a pull but not drastically only like 10yards or so. Am I using hip rotation to early and less arms?? Any advice would be appreciated. Not every shot but more with my short irons. Thanks

Could be the weight not getting forward enough, spinning the hips.  If it's a straight pull we know the face is left of the target and the path matches.  I'd take a look at these drills.

Have you looked into getting a VisionTrack Pro?  I agree with Mvmac, your path is too far left.  Most likely it is a path issue - and the VisionTrack will help you understand path quickly - and you can hit balls with it and get immediate feedback.

So basically, get the weight forward (as pointed out by Mvmc), and then swing out - which the VisionTrack will help visualize.

Good luck!  I hate hitting straight pulls too!!

Sweet you guys are awesome. Between the drills and vision track Ive almost solved it. Turned out my,swing was correct with head down but im hitting the ball straight now instead of the natural cut ive had for years so it was an aiming at address issue.

I have had a left issue for over a month, club face, feet all on target, swing seemed fine. But I was missing every green left not by a lot but enough to cause acouple extra strokes to add up on par 3's.

Found out it was my shoulders were pointing left, never thought about it until I piggy backed on my sons lesson. Right away his couch pulled out a club lined it to my shoulders and said look at where the ball landed and look at your shoulders. As soon as I put them in line i was hitting straight shots again, not saying this is your issue but for me I never thought about my shoulders pointing left maybe this will help also?

I have had that problem a bit this year and have ordered my vision track pro as of yesterday.

I am excited to see how this aid helps the swing path and hopefully helps understand my swing a little better
