I believe the XHot is more of a regular "game improvement" club, while the XHot Pro is more of a "players game improvement" club. Smaller head, shallower cavity, probably less offset. (i.e. harder to hit consistently but more workable) I didn't study the specs, I'm sure you can do that on their web site for the details. My guess is they didn't show you the XHot because they didn't have any in stock, but that's only a guess. Maybe something you said to them got them focused more on players clubs? Most retailers aren't going to show you stuff you don't seem interested in unless there's a real commission spiff involved.
For what it's worth, I really like the looks of the XHot clubs, though being currently a Titleist/Ping fanboy I haven't looked real hard at the specs. I'm not a fan of the current trend that seems to demand that each new product line release be "out longest ever!" But even Titleist is playing now so I'll just sit over here and grumble.
