Hey guys.. Overall I'm very pleAsed with my swing.. ( arm swing) .. Lower body pivot is the area I'm focusing on... If you can, let me know what these numbers are saying.. Would appreciate it. I don't have a flight scope or similar system within 2 hrs of where I live.. All I have Thanks so kindly.. I'm hitting low draws.. I love that shot to death.. Pivot an issue.. Might be over rotation on backswing. If it is, I will keep more weight left.. Chris

Like working on the swing,,score means nothing to me. Might just go to the range and give up playing... ( might happen)

Used it again in my net..now I hit 92 ..with 3 swings. I'm not a pro, but this seems kinda unrealistic to me. Well I guess the worse thing that happened , I'm only out $15 . Not sure why I keep on spending my money on stuff like this...

Yeah if you want to get rid of the low draws, you'll have to change the rotation ratios of the hips.  54 is a lot on the backswing and only 4 degrees open isn't enough.  Just from seeing your swing a couple times I think you have a reverse hip slide, meaning the hips go towards the target too muhc during the backswing.  I would feel the opposite, like the right hip stretches up during the backswing.

Have you seen their youtube videos?  Might be good to check out

Thanks man..I do like the drills.. This might be one of those things to really play around with. My numbers jumped way up once I started hitting balls with this on. Practice swings skimming grass didn't produce the best results. I like how they have different ball flights, and u can just emulate their numbers to get the results. Not sure about the rest or the world on here.but I love hitting it low and hooking into the target .

.

Yeah it doesn't work unless you hit a ball.  You need the sound of impact

If the iPhone or iPod or whatever is moving around in your pocket it's obviously not going to give a great response. The best place is horizontal and attached to your belt or hips. If you have a pocket that's tight enough (not a loose pocket where the device can move around), that'll work too. Try tucking it into your waistband if it's tight enough. I've gotten pretty consistent results from it.

Doesn't help season is done and I'm wearing 3 layers of clothes now,, I see a lot of benefits in this product. Just discouraged I had high 80's and mid 90 ratings... I want to see some major hip issues , which I have. I did learn that I turn way more than I thought I did,,which is good,, I always thought I was t flexible enough

Remember what it's measuring. Peak speeds, etc. It can't necessarily tell you that your hips are working perfectly. There are likely some PGA Tour players to which it would give a low rating to (Jim Furyk perhaps?).

This is just a prime example of me not having a clue to new technology. I look at this stuff and just scratch my head in confusion,, I researched on youtube...watched the videos a million times, and I'm still clueless.. I'm just going to grip club and swing,,and research this topic some more, Excellent replies though.,,almost best I stay away from flight scopez and stuff like this,,

I just came across this thread and thought I could offer some insight so you can continue to get some benefit from the app.   Erik is right, there are few great golfers that would probably not score the best on the app due to swing style or physical limitations.  I also see plenty of Junior Golfers that score 100 on the app but make terrible contact with the ball because they are hyper mobile and the rest of the golf swing isn't strong enough to match up with their hips.  The score in the app is best used as a reference or a guideline to let you know you are moving in the right direction.  You may also notice as you move through your set, your score will also be different, most likely you will score get better as the clubs get longer and you carry more speed. A good example of how to use the score feature as you practice would be if you were to try to increase your hip speed and your score starts to decrease, this would be a good sign that you are most likely losing stability or efficiency in your lower body because of the change you made and you are going down the wrong path.

Mike mentioned your hip rotation in the backswing and I would suggest that is where you will get the best results.  With students that tend to over rotate their hips in the backswing the app is a valuable tool because more often than not they think or "feel" they are stable and barely moving and they turn 45 degrees.  This "feeling" of restriction can also throw off your timing and slow things down at first when learning a new motor skill.  The upside I usually see is students maintain better posture and balance because they are not turning past the end range of their hip mobility.  I have seen an increase in MTRx score, hip speed and better hip rotation at impact just from getting the hips in a better range in the backswing.  Use the app to measure feel and I think you might find YOUR most efficient move.

Sorry to hear the season is coming to an end for you and I hope this post helped in some way.  Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or insights on how we can make the app better.

The app works well with impact bags and wiffle balls just in case you want to work a little on your game in the off season.

Thanks

Thanks

Appreciate the above.

When I am using the app, I noticed too much hip movement - over-rotation - I don't think it was an effective hip turn, as MVMAC will attest. ;-) We changed that.

Thanks for your explanation as to speeding up the hips, and then the score lowering as indicating less stability...

Thanks Devin..I live in the country in Indiana..we have no flight scopez or monitoring systems in the area. I'm going to utilize this app along with my skypro..that was a wonderful response. I now see how this will be a valuable aid in the upcoming bitter cold months coming very soon near me,, Thanks again
