So - the story is that I stink at driver.  Can't control it and can't seem to hit it solid.  I quit using one (and anything but irons for that matter) and my scores improved.  Awesome.  Then I slowly introduced a 17* hybrid.  Once I was pretty good with it, I introduced a 15* RBZ 3-wood.  Now I've got the hang of these two clubs pretty good and am thinking of re-introducing driver.

I played golf with a guy a while back who turns out to work at the PGA superstore.  He was inquiring as to why I didn't carry a driver.  Told him why. He asked which one I had and I told him I had a TM Superfast.  Immediately he said it was terrible.  A lot of people had come in disliking that club, getting them cut down and such.  So I asked him what I should get and he immediately said the Rocketballz.  I love the 3-wood, so I'm thinking of getting one.  Or maybe even the Stage II.

Anyone own this club and want to say what they think of it?  My main concern would be accuracy - distance second.

I have the stage 2 driver and 3W, and rocketballz 3H. I love the 3W and 3H for both control and distance (in fact I'm going out tonight to buy the 4H). Unfortunately, I haven't found that same level of consistency in the driver yet though. In my case, it's probably more a reflection of my swing vs. the driver itself but I am a bit surprised with how much of a difference their is in the quality of my shots between the two.

I'd suggest not to limit your selection until you have tried whatever you can get hold of. I have the TM Burner Superfast driver as well and I think it is me more than the driver. Then I got hold of a Cobra AMP Cell driver and tried the different lofts and I was very consistent, never missed the fairway, at 8.5* loft (used it twice so far). Check out the other adjustable loft drivers, try every loft and go from there.
