Who do you think has to or must have a break out year on the PGA tour- besides TW and Rory in 2014???

I believe Ricky Fowler needs to make a move, OK I get the colorful youthful clothing, I get the X games, skate boarding and motor cross back ground, but sooner or later he needs to ****or get off the pot.  I am not convinced he has the strength and size to compete  week in and week out. I didn't pick him last year in my golf pools- never even considered him.

In a nut shell he seems to be moving down, fading into mediocrity, rather than moving up. His puma counter part Alexi is putting some wins together and competing.

Luke Donald and Lee Westwood are dropping like stones in the World Golf Rankings. Maybe their time is up, but either one of them could resurrect themselves with a good season and particularly a Major win. Westwood in particular could use a Major boost.

I would say Jason Day and Lee Westwood, both are great players and have been close in a few majors.

Fowler, Rory, Jason Day, Hunter Mahan, Bubba Watson and Luke Donald all need to have big years in 2014.

I like this. All of these have a lot of star attention and did not shine so well in 2013. Rory and Bubba both have major notches on their guns, so if they win a couple of tournaments and contend in the majors, they are good. I would like to see Rickie live up to his potential. I am fine with the wild colors, hate the cap, but it appeals to kids and that is important for the future. I would not be suprised to see Jordan Spieth contend or even win a major in 2014. I don't think he has to in order to stay in the limelight; a couple of wins would be ok if he is at least a factor in the big events. I see him as a steady long term asset, though, based on his performance this year. Maybe not a Tiger, but at least a Phil or Freddie.
