Since when is harassing people during their swing "good-natured stuff"?

What's next, hitting someone in the knee with a sand wedge so they miss a 3-foot putt?

I'd normally avoid that.  But if you recommend it, maybe it's not so bad.  Thanks

But, if everyone is putting, they might see it coming if you carry that wedge on the green.  Maybe just buy a heavy putter.

I sometimes ask my playing partners if the inhale or exhale in their back swing? or if they look at their shadow?

usually good for a laugh and at least one shank or heel of the club contact somewhere in the round.

Many years ago, I had a playing partner I'd mess with.........

I'd just comment on his technique in an innocent way........I'd just say something to the effect of...."how do you get your elbow in that position?"......or something to that effect.   He'd start thinking about his elbow position.....and his game would turn to crap.......LOL

I play in a bay area charity tournament and every year on one of the par 3s there is a insurance broker who challenges all of the golfers to a closer to the pin bet. The money goes to charity and if you beat him you get a dozen balls and a raffle ticket. The kicker is that you can attempt to distract him any way or any time during his swing. He wins most of the time he's a pretty good player. While he's swinging people are yelling, hitting cans , telling jokes anything to try and distract him, never works, the guy is rock solid.
