Cary Schoen and The Lower Body Lie That Is Devastating Golf (Troll Thread) - Page 7

Hello sandtrap! I usually do not enjoy being in traps but I heard there is a dicussion going on.

I have worked with zerocomp for quite some time and I would like to publicly fire him as my personal guru.

So that I do not get in trouble for not talking about the golf: I will now be working on thrusting my lower body out of its tilt so that my handle can raise through impact. DISTANCE!

We've seen this act before, and you've earned an immediate restriction from this thread.

Cary and "bogeltorp" have a regular comedy act going, and have repeated it enough that their pattern is well established. We're not interested in playing such games. Cary is free to - in fact, he's been implored to - share actual information so that we may discuss it, and has, thus far, failed spectacularly to do so.

I fail to understand how discussing the wrists is relevant to "The Lower Body" and am deeming this off topic. If you want to discuss the wrists, start another thread. This thread should remain on the topic of the lower body and specifically the "lies" about which people have asked questions and you've failed - thus far - to answer.

I'm glad you got rid of that BogeyBogelThorpe right away. He is a NO GOOD troublemaker.

In order to stay on topic, here is a pic of his lower body action

I'd like to DIRECTLY DISCUSS the role of the right hip in the golf swing:

I'm gonna make an attempt at a serious discussion here, knowing full well I'm probably wasting my time, but here goes:

What I see from the path is that Hogan had a centered pivot, then a lateral shift as he rotated his hips open during his swing. It's nothing that I haven't read from the instructors here, and it's certainly nothing I would consider against "modern" golf instruction. I'm not quite sure why you're being weird and cryptic about what your take is on the golf swing unless you're just trolling.

I like to think of myself as a high handicap player with a fairly decent knowledge of swing theory, so please, share your ideas so we can discuss it. I love to learn, and it would certainly demonstrate your ability to express yourself and convey your beliefs.

Nope. Sorry. I was perfectly clear.

To the Penalty Box for one week you go. I cannot imagine what may become of this thread by the time you return.

My apologies to you, @billchao, but I imagine that if you scroll back through this thread you'll find that @ZeroComp was given multiple chances to do as you requested: "share your ideas so we can discuss…".

<PICS>

I don't see any lower body action. All three camera views appear to be at approximately the same moment of impact.

It's cool. He brought it upon himself; I really wasn't expecting much of a response, anyway.

Thank You. That Cary was a maniac. As far as I could glean through the entire thread, (he really didn't say much), he wants you to stay in your forward tilt until you strike the ball and return the hands and shaft near the address plane. Big deal. Not exactly earth shattering. I found these clips of the college girl he teaches from the WRX site. If this is what he is trying to get out of a golf swing then we don't need to hear this BS around here anyway

That is what I could tell too. Others said it. Stay in forward flexion no axis tilt hands exit low and left.

Ou812 is cary along with the other 15 people that have/will come on here claiming to have worked with him/support him etc. he pulled this on wrx for a good two weeks. Just kept creating more accounts claiming to be students. You're doing a great thing suspending him so fast. Get rid on this cancer before it gets out of control
post #121 of 231
You are probably Cary too.-Prove that youre not.

I don't have stupid pictures to post, I don't make posts claiming I have answers and then never answer them nor will I be posting here again. I am simply a person that frequents another site that saw this clown get out of control with his ridiculous posts and 20 fake screen names. Just my two cents, get rid of this clown and his split personalities

I know I said bye..but after reading this...I have to honestly say this is the most confusing thing ever. Before I would be enthralled with this stuff..

But I can now honestly say,,for the amount of golf I play... I truly have the best swing on the internet for a casual golfer. I think this guy needs to see me for swing help.. No one lags it or has the best looking impact alignments like me for the amount of golf I play

Always wanted to say this without buying something,,

Damn I feel good now

Ok so Cary got banned man I've never seen anyone get banned so fast just for not laying out all his theories in one post. To me it seemed like he was encouraging discussion on a topic about the lower body he was interested in. This forum seems jaded must have some baggage from some previous snake oil salesman.

Oh well I'm interested in this topic. I've worked with Mchatton before and have seen the traces of Ben hogans pivot he's done from the biomechanics study he participated in on hogan. One thing that is interesting about that hip trace is that hogans right hip was actually farther from the ball at impact then it was at the top. Which I would guess would differ greatly from the avg golfer who's right hip I would bet would be much closer to the baseline
