My Swing (canadianpro)

I've been Playing Golf for: 60 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 5.1

My typical ball flight is: push draw

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: overhooking the irons

 Observations?

Pete, good to hear from you again.

The attempts to slide forward are resulting in the lead knee staying flexed a bit too long. Add more "snap" to help speed up the pivot. Notice in this picture the softness of your left knee but also roughly where your hips are pointed at impact rather than being about 40-45° open by now.

Paging @cipher - he can give you some good feels for this. On the bright side they should feel more powerful too and add clubhead speed.

I would say THIS.

Feeling the extension along the left side and throwing that left hip towards left field while still feeling the depth of the right hip.  And it is as if the right hip is the hinge.   Also maybe flare the left foot out more to help with getting that left hip around and to protect your left knee.

Once Erik taught me how to do this properly I gained  much distance with more accuracy.  It was rough...;-)

Hopefully this helps, had to post it a bit too quick quick as I am a bit short time.

Hey Guys

The weather conditions are questionable but the snowball I hit flew just right of the target with a slight draw. :-)
