Useful? - Tile - RFID, but social, works w/smartphone and more

Note the part where it's dropped into a golf bag. I've never lost my golf bag, although that could happen. Too bad there's no way to put in on a club. The notify your friends/family feature is interesting as well.

Here's one that's iOS & Android compatible and battery replaceable.

I bought some. We have some of the Stick-n-Find ones already but they're kind of annoying. My wife's makes beeping noises any time it's jostled even though it's paired properly with her phone. Their UI sucks too.

I'm hoping Tile is a little better. The wife loses her keys way too frequently. :P

Ah, but did your wife accuse you of accidentally throwing out her keys only to find them six months later in her winter jacket?

No. But she once lost them twice within a four day period. What makes that worse is that they were lost for three of the four days.

And I was just accused yesterday of accidentally recycling one of my daughter's boots. They are stored on shelves above the recycling bins. Somehow it is my fault alone if they fall in. a1_smile.gif

Lost keys scenario is screaming for a low cost effective solution. I dunno why the push for products like these don't get more traction. To quote a certain TV show - "We have the technology."
