Nike Covert 5 wood

Was at the PGASS and after hitting my clubs for a bit i wondered over to the used section. Pulled out a Nike Covert 5 wood with a stiff stock shaft. Wow. This club for whatever reason worked for me. I was hitting this club a consistent 209 with an amazing initial jump off the face and ball flight. Anyone actually play the Covert 5 wood? If the head wasn't so beat up I may have bought it. Anyone who does have one does the paint chip easily?

Many of  the painted clubs with the shinny enamel finish will eventually chip, Nike will not be the exception. That said you'll need to use your head cover when not in use, take an unplayable in questionable area.

PS also try the new Adams and Taylormade FWY, these really jump as well.

Next time i am at the PGASS I definitely will give them a try. Was always curious about a 5 wood. Never owned one. If I happen to see one at a good price and I hit it well I may just grab one. Thanks for the info on the paint chipping. The Covert I was hitting looked like it was beat bad on the crown right by the face.
