I miss the buttery impact. Is it the head? The shaft? The grip? - Page 2

I don't know how to edit my previous post yet. Anyway, here at the bottom you see the tip differences I was referring to, and generally you will see something similiar on most shafts in the R/S flex.

@saevel25 Great. Another "matching" thingy to worry about. lol

@trickyputt You're a gentleman and a scholar. I will definitely read between the lines.

About the grip, that's always confused and frustrated me. Grip charts say I should use standard, but those extra jumbo grips I made from women's standard grips and Winn wrap just felt right. But maybe it's because I grip it wrong, even though the few pros I've consulted either said my grip looks fine or didn't even mention it. It's funny, I vaguely remember--as in, I can make myself remember--a pro a long time ago telling me I don't cock my wrists enough at the top of my backswing and I release it to early in the downswing. I wonder if my grip is really the culprit. I suppose I should post in the technique section.

@mvmac Contact probably isn't as consistent as with my old irons. Someone else mentioned that the different grip size and different shaft flex and weight probably have me swinging a bit differently.
