Hey guys I am a new member here. Just getting back into golf after being a junior member for 2 years 17 years ago. I am terrible at the game. Hitting over the 100's every round. I am getting no height in my shots even with a PW Lol. I even bought clubs that are designed for high handicappers and are menat to help you get the ball in the air. Bazooka Tour edge irons. I can not hit a wood to save myself so normally play a 6-7 iron off the tee. Sometimes I hit the ball great then the next shot I take you would never think I have played golf before. I have no handicap. Any help tips you can give me would be wonderful. Cheers Lee

First, get a video camera.

Second, set it up so that it is facing down the toe line when you swing. Video tape your swing. Set up the camera so it is facing you and video tape your swing. Post it here on the forum in the "My Swing" section.

Third, wait for the advice and be prepared to put in some meaningful work :-D

Basically there is now way we can give you tips because we don't know what exactly is going on. This isn't the golf channel or golf digest here. No absent minded lets throw darts blindly tips. You came to the right place if you really want to improve your game, but it will take some work on your part.

Also, welcome to the forum, hope you stick around!!!!

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

You should post a video of your swing. There are multiple causes for low ball flight and as a beginner I'm sure there are other issues with your swing. I believe the correct forum section to post it in is member swings and will allow better players to help you out. Also, it's probably a good idea to take a few lessons at some point (either in person or through an online service like evolr). Until you are able to get do either, I would suggest looking at the 5 simple keys videos (can find on YouTube or here) as they have helped many of us immensely.
