Finally broke 80!

I set a goal to break 80 before the end of the summer. Well 3 days before school starts I did it, on a course which my best score is a 89 before this! It is a short shot makers type course I always mess up, today I played smart golf all day and it paid off. The course has some nasty greens with fast false fronts, and a bunch of OB to the slice side.The putter was on fire too, not a single miss inside 10 ft. The first time I played this course I shot a 101 and my buddy who normally shoots in the 70's shot a 97.

note: the card looks like a 5 for #13 but my buddy marked it wrong.

Congratulations, I rememer the first time I broke 80. I shot a 1 under 71

I missed a 20 foot birdie putt on the 18th for a 79. It just barely lipped out, but my score was still my best ever at 80.

Well I went out today and shot an 82 43-39 and beat a buddy of mine by 1 stroke. I lost my putter today apparently because i missed everything today. I hit 5 GIR in a row to start the back nine and didnt have a single birdie. My driver really cooled off today as well, felt like I was playing like utter crap yet still a low 80's score. Glad to see this wasnt a fluke and I really am just getting better.
