I have an Ogio stand bag (I forget the name, but it has external metal bars that provide ridgidity) I've had for 4-5 years and I've basically gotten to that point where I ride all the time (more so because of my golf partners), so it's time to get a cart bag to get rid of the annoyances of my current bag.  Anyone have a cart bag they swear by?  I'm looking for:

  • Plenty of room for rain suit
  • Insulated pocket for a few beers
  • Easy access to golf balls (I love the Ogio ball pockets)

I'm thinking maybe the 2014 Titleist Lightweight Cart Bag, if anyone has experience with it.

I have the Ogio Cirrus cart bag. Good bag 14 way dividers, plenty of pocket space. Velcro pad to attach glove. Cell phone pocket as well as a large valuables pocket at the top of bag. My favorite bag was my old Adidas Prevail cart bad. I think it has been discontinued. That was light weight 14 separate dividers lasted 3 seasons plus but my wife got me he Ogio bag so I had to part ways with the Prevail. I got it for $50 new. Miss that bag.

In scouting around Golfsmith today, I'll probably pickup a 2013 Ogio Giza.  Lots of pockets and the cooler pocket should hold 3 or 4 beers. The Titleist Lightweight Cart Bag cooler pocket looks like it would only hold 1 can.  Not looking to booze it up, but have a hard time popping $3.50 for a can of Miller Light!

I haven't hit the course with it yet, but I recently picked up a Callaway Org 14 cart bag as I will be using a push cart for the first time this year. I really like all the space it has, as well as he 14 dividers, and of course th 6 pack cooler!

+1 for the Org 14 I've have the Org 14 for a few years now. It's a very good bag, no complaints. It's got everything you're looking for too. The entire left side is an insulated zippered compartment (i've fit several large gatorade bottles, a few icepacks and snacks in it, with room to spare) and the right side is a large non-insulated zippered compartment that expands if needed. There's also many sub compartments all over (the main ball compartment is front and center - easily accessible). Bottom line is that it has room for pretty much everything
