How do I get more hip rotation?

Hello all! Need some advice.

Since we are still in bad weather here in Illinois, I have been swinging the clubs every night for 1 hour indoors without hitting balls, just focusing on swing techniques. I am having problems getting my hips to "clear" and point to the left (I swing right handed.) I can get my lower body around and get my hips to face square to the target, but I'm having a hard time getting my hips to keep traveling on that path and point to the left of my target for my final "pose."

If I try to over-exagerate the movement, I can get my hips pointing left, but it makes me want to pull my lead foot off the ground and twist with my body.

Do you guys know of any good videos I can watch to show me some excersises to practice with?

I dont think the hip action is caused by initiating a hip mouvement. it's the result of contrary movement between the lower body vs higher body.

Ì believe that if your trying to make hip action happen you have it wrong cause you are watching pictures and videos, a static element, but not getting the dynamics.

it's still better for a pro to teach hip action, he nows you can only come back.

Minus the steps it's hard (actually almost impossible) to throw very well or very hard without hip action, with either backhand or forehand throws. Either or both can translate to golf.

If your front foot is spinning out, you either don't have enough weight on your front foot at impact or are trying to open your hips before shifting your weight forward. Search for 5 Simple Keys on this site and see Key #2.

Left foot is pulling off the ground probably because the weight isn't forward enough. We don't just purely rotate from the top of the backswing. Have to transfer the weight forward which allows you to "use the ground" to keep turning. Couple good videos for you to check out.
