Who has the best looking, fluent, consistent swing on tour at the moment?

Russell Henley. The week before… Jason Day. Before him, Bubba.

Point being they're all good.

That's subjective right? Some people like certain traits more than others. It's like choosing between best ice cream flavors.

If there's a swing out there I could have as my own, it would be Louis Oustheizen ... however the hell you spell it.

With that swing and that putting stroke, I never understood how he doesn't win more.

What's in the Bag:
Driver: Taylormade SLDR 12*
3-wood: Taylormade Burner 15*
Hybrid: Taylormade Burner 19*
Irons: Callaway XR

Wedges: Vokey 50*, 54*, 58*
Putter: Scotty Newport Studio

I really like Grant Waite's swing, though I don't think he's on tour much anymore.

If we're talking about aesthetics, I'd go with Rory McIlroy, he makes it look pretty smooth.

In terms of ball striking I really like how Hunter Mahan, Zach Johnson and Jason Dufner hit it.

Right now, in terms of subjective beauty, it's Charl Schwartzel for me. His 3 quarter range iron swing looks perfect to me. The look, simplicity, efficiency, the rhythm... and from a mechanical point of view, he hits all the positions I think are important to hit. I just love it.

Funnily enough however, Schwartzel lost in the Matchplay to Jim Furyk a couple weeks ago, so go figure. There's more to scoring low than having what I or anyone thinks is a pretty looking golf swing obviously.

In terms of ballstriking consistency, I think the best swing on tour is Steve Stricker's. The guy barely plays but still maintains a presence on the world rankings. His minimalist approach with his wrist angles is something I think we can all learn from.

So I'd go with Stricker I guess.

Agree. We share the same taste! Rory for pure classical beauty and Dufner and Zack because I'm a huge fanboy of pitch elbow! Duf and Zack's A5 are AWESOME!! Call me weird, but I actually really like watching Furyk swing, it's so odd but so cool at the same time. What a freak, especially with a driver. :bugout:

I agree, and Louie is long to boot.

Rory's rhythm is beautiful. I like the little hip opening move he does as his trigger move. That's so unique.

lol totally forgot about Mahan, edited my post :-)

Watched him on the range hitting 4 irons for about 20 minutes at Riviera. Obviously all those guys hit it well but Mahan is a notch above most of them. Rarely misses his start lines and curves it the same amount every time, hits it pretty solid too ;-)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned D.J...He may not be the most accurate, but his swing sure looks good.

    • I do not follow amateur or Korn Ferry tour but this story might get me to pay attention. At age 15 to be as accomplished as he is makes me think we may be seeing a future star.  A story of him breaking out may help reinvigorate golf viewership. • Day 55: 4/18/2024 Got to the range again today. Planned to do my priority pieces and then hit targets with irons. But after my priority pieces I hit a few drives and tugged them all hard left. .... Uh... oh boy.  So, I spent about a half hour trying to hit targets at the range with my driver.
