Catching driver on the heel

One common reason for hitting off the heel or even the hosel is the casting of the club and going over the top w/ an out/inside swing.

I know, I have been there and done that........................

That's my mistake swing as well......heel shots are the best. When it happens to me, it's usually because I get a little antsy and come down quick and steep from the top.

Make sure you aren't standing too close to the ball.

Check your balance. Sometimes when your weight is too far forward or back (on your feet) your arms end up reaching out for the ball on the way down and your contact ends up being inconsistent or off kilter.
