Difference between 3 & 4 hybrid both 21 deg?

I have a nike vr 21deg 3 hybrid and my wife just bought me a taylormade 21deg 4 hybrid my question is with them both being the same loft are they similar clubs? I know the distance will be different just cause there different manufacturers but would I be better off changing one of them to give myself more room between clubs?

Do they have similar shafts? Same length and flex? I would assume unless something is dramatically different in the shaft or head weighting, you wouldn't see a huge difference in distance, only in ball flight.

What are your other clubs in that range? I would not have both of them in your bag regardless.

21 degrees is 21 degrees ... Like mentioned above - all things being equal: length / shaft / etc. distance should be the same ...

Just because one is labeled a 3 and the other is a 4 - means nothing.

Its a marketing ploy ... My RBZ 3i is 17.5* & a Ping I20 3I is 21* ... The specs vary by manufacturer

The one your wife bought you is better because every time you use it the shot you hit with it will be as sweet as she is.  Tell her this everytime you use it and you might just find yourself golfing more.

Apart from that, apples to apples, one is a Golden Delicious and the other is a Red Delicious, but both still make a decent pie.

I'm in a weird mood today, sorry, sort of.
