Wisconsin Courses Open Update

I just wanted to start a thread so we could all keep each other up to date on courses as they open.

Oakwood is still covered in snow and the nearby fields are super spongy.  I'll followup if I notice the range or shop open up there.

I drove by Naga-Waukee today. It was about half way there. Maybe a couple more weeks. Fingers crossed. I am headed to Florida Thursday, so I am hoping we will be playing by the time I get back anyway.

Thanks I think?

I walked over to Oakwood today at lunch to see how it looked.  Most of the snow and ice is gone from the fairways, but the ground is really wet, very soft in places, and standing water in the low spots.  If they open in the next week or so it will become a ball plug special.  I kept on the sides and off the fairways so I didn't leave embedded footprints all over the place.

I saw that the executive course Brookfield Hills was open today.

Does anyone ever play Ives Grove in Sturtevant? I-94 and hwy 20....

I played it a lot when it first opened 35 years ago. Was wondering how it matured after all these years.....

I'll swing by Oakwood Park after work and see if their practice range is open. Too soggy to walk over there and I didn't bring any spare shoes or boots today.

Just got an email that Geneva National will be opening tomorrow. Kind of surprising to me though that the Lake Geneva courses are opening before even the local muni's considering they have hundreds of thousands of dollars more invested in upkeep but it's $39 for 18 holes (normally over $100 unless you find a deal) with a cart through April 17th. I've only played there twice in my life (Palmer and Trevino) but that's not a bad deal to play some pretty nice courses.

I received an email from evergreen saying they opened yesterday. That deal for Geneva is really good. I've never been there but the courses look nice.

Has anyone played Wild Rock in the Dells? I have been wanting to play it for a while. I saw in one of the mags recently that is was rated about #7 in WI.
