2014 NCAA Basketball Tournament - Page 4

Yeah, 1Billion contest is over.  Makes me wonder if Buffett made a "donation" to a couple of the schools to pull of flop.

If he was going to do that, why would he hold the contest in the first place? Why not just keep his billion?

This Louisville/Saint Louis game is painful.

He's not a moron. He knows the odds. Paying a few schools would be a complete waste of money.

The odds were definitely in his favor.  The tournament has been spectacular.   The upsets, the close games and the few blow outs have made it interesting.

In years past I have not picked them past the round of 16. When I saw they got a 2 seed this year I just had to run them a little further.

Am I the only one who thinks the ncaa should make more fair brackets. By that I mean giving some team pretty much home games when they are suppose to be neutral site? Like duke playing in Raleigh?! Wisconsin in Milwaukee!? I understand 1 seeds playing in their state or close to but no other aeeds should be. Oregon traveled across the country and Wisconsin drove down the road! My only problem with march

Sounds like excuses to me. Its the way its always been, I don't mind it. Unless its actually on the campus, it isn't a home court. Most other sports have some sort of home court for the best teams. NCAA actually forces all teams to travel to some degree.

My thoughts as well. Some teams travel a lot less than others but nobody's playing any actual home games. No big deal at all (as proven by the fact that his example team got smoked.)
