im ised to noticing the direction of my divots but since some swing changes i occasionaly hit a big slice and the divot starts really fat and then goes really thin, like am arrowpointing in the direction of where im aiming, afraid i didnt get a photo as i left my phone in the car

Hard to tell without a picture or video.

Try that thread. See if anything in there helps.

Hard to tell anyways. Divots are not very useful.

Keep working on what advice Mike has given you in your swing thread. Ultimate goal is usually a push draw, which would be a shallower swing path. So things should take care of its self in the long run.

Lol im deffo following mikes advice,.....i shot 109 in horrible wind yesterday, and ive not shot over 100 for about 2 years now, but i stuck with the changes and advice because i could see some really nice shots out there, it will just take some time to come together and be second nature

but this shot has never been a part of my game and the divot shape ive never seen before, so naturally i presume im doing something wrong,

the new swing is slightly OTT but not in a big way

It means you're not doing what I recommended slow enough to change things. Path is still down and to the left. I explained why the path was left, it's easiest to send our path to the right with our weight 85-95% forward, and to shift our path left with our weight farther back.

ah right i get it, sorry didnt put two and two together

i just worry that from so many years of swining flat and way inside blocking it right all the time that if i swing down the line or right ill just start blocking it again, i struggle to close the clubface naturally as it is

but will try your drills :)
