Wouldn't that be kind of a subjective topic? Given the opportunity to go back in time and address that same putt, who's to say the player would push/pull that same putt with the same club? A number of things could have impacted the putt, such as: nerves, yips, confidence level, injury/pain, a blatant misread, bad strike, etc.
I can't say "Tiger pushed his 3W at the Palmer on the second hole. But, here's what would have happened had he used the new TM SLDR instead! [insert CGI ball flight splitting the fairway + dramatic cut-scene to a Tiger fist pump]".
