Anyone Here or See A Driver Like This Before? Company Called Distaff?

Head is clear and feels like maybe lucite (not very heavy). The name on the head cover and shaft is DISTAFF. It has a full size graphite shaft and golf pride grips.

I'd buy it if they would make one with a goldfish encased in the lucite.

I'd like to swing it just to see the ball flight.

I'm going to assume, based on the name, that its a womans club.

And for the record, I don't even know what I'm looking at there. ;)

The company was based in Miami.  The head is made of the same polymer as good bulletproof vests.  Designed for the women's market, it featured a 306 gram head, two shaft flexes, and a 42"5" length.  It was specifically designed to get the ball up in the air off of a tee for women with slower swing speeds.  At 70 mph, the ball would achieve a launch angle of 14.5 degrees.

The company went out of business, unable to crack the niche market.

I still have some clubs, including some experimental ones.  Some came in black for the people who found it to be too distracting to look through.

Doesn't look to be very forgiving. No perimeter weighting.

Kevlar is made by DuPont, a Delaware-based company
