Was long on his 2nd, chipped down to the creek but stayed out... Duffed his 4th and it went into the creek...  Dropped for 5.  Duffed his 6th shot short of the creek.   7 went long onto the green.  2 putted for 9.

Patrick Reed's shirt is certainly not top-5.

OK, psyched both my picks on the Masters contest started out solid (Haas and Strick). Last minute strategy don't fail me now! :-D @Golfingdad

LOL, no kidding.  Rory's isn't much better.  The colorblock style looks a lot like the new apartment and condo buildings that keep popping up around here ...

It's only Thursday, he could turn it around. ;-)

My man GMac is hanging in there.  He is not making too many mistakes. As they say, "You can't win the Masters on the first day, but you can lose it."

Yes, good point.  If he shoots a 59 tomorrow he'll be right there! ;)

Yup, I'd say he played a lot better than even par, from what I saw he got quite a few bad breaks (pun intended) on a couple putts. So close to going in.

Hopefully those fall in tomorrow and he posts low.

Dufner should just withdraw and go home now.

Angel Cabrera's play surprised me a bit.

So far, my 3 picks are right there. Matt K, is the lowest at even par....

Jason Day

Adam Scott

So many players are missing short on 12.  That is surprising considering the low wind.

But going long there is a huge miss too.

But short is a definite 4. Long still has a chance for par.

If the shirts weren't like $100 each, I would buy the Rory collection...  And that sweet white jacket he had earlier.

Nike makes the best golf clothing ( style, quality and fit ) hands down.

Hehe....OK, I debated making this post because I thought it might be better to let you stay blissful in your picks, but in the end, decided you'd thank me later... still, please don't shoot the messenger... but I think you missed a critical clause in the contest's rules....

In other words, if someone chooses Joe Smith for their first choice - at any score - and you choose him for your second choice, you've wasted your choice.

So taking Scott and Kuchar 2nd and 3rd were wasted picks because people have them as their 1st selection. Your only live horse is Jason Day at 6-under.

Don't shoot the messenger, @Hammer 4

Lemme buy you a digital drink
