LOL. Jets, Nets, Mets, Rangers. But I disowned the Nets already... and my Rangers fan card is about as suspect as they come, as is my Mets fan card.

It's basically just the Jets for me. And Team USA soccer.

I'll also throw in Liverpool and Team Greece too.

I have a few close friends that are the same way as @JetFan1983 and @billchao , especially with baseball and football.  No one in the NYC met area is ever a Giants, Mets fan or Yankee, Jets.

I met Brad Park a few years back.  He was with the Rangers and Bruins.  He said the best compliment he ever got was (imagine a thick Boston accent), "When you were with the Rangers, I hated your guts.  Now I love ya!"

Stats don't mean much in playoff hockey.

And nope, the fact that LA gets tougher to play against every game gives me confidence. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but there's a respectable chance.

I wouldn't be so confident after outshooting the Rangers 23-3 in the third period and not scoring. Lundquist is the wild card and gives the Rangers a fighting chance. I think this thing goes seven.

It's not going seven if LA outshoots them 23-3 every period, I can tell you that.

That was just one period. I think you are seriously underestimating Lundqvist's ability to steal games. Plus, Quick isn't the same guy that won the Conn Smythe two years ago. It's going to be an interesting series.

Both goalies are equally skilled and have done exceptionally well in the playoffs.

I'd say Quick has that same ability. He might not be playing at the freakish level he was 2 years ago, but he's still a top 5 goalie and a clutch performer. I think LA is going to be too much for NY to handle, surprised NY made it this far honestly, but anything can happen. LA in 6 imo

I wouldn't sell the Rangers short for now. Even though I pull for L.A., the Rangers didn't get to the Stanley Cup by luck.

Sorry, I wasn't suggesting that somehow, Quick's abilities have finished. What I meant was that in 2012 he happened to get on a hot streak and played on a "freakish level," as you put it. Here in 2014, he's playing more on par with the norm of his abilities, so while he is still quite good, I don't get that same unbeatable vibe from him.

I knew that. It was only a matter of time.

Bylsma to Vancouver? Who comes to Pittsburgh?

Also, at least you didn't end up with Pierre McGuire as your GM. Hammer time!

The Rangers just can't seem to sustain that high intensity level over three periods. They aren't the best shooting team either....

I can't see them digging out of that 2-0 hole.

They never could. They're not really a strong puck possession team. They exploit other teams' mistakes with their speed, but that's about it. They were really a dark horse team to get in the finals at all, and got there by way of some pretty good percentages.

I will say that it takes way too long to finish the playoffs. There shouldn't be hockey in June.
