Golf club offers new option - walk, cart or... bike

Makes sense in Colorado I would guess, as lots of active people in the state. It better have a good low gear for hills though. And keep that bag firmly on the bike.

I would like to try this.  It appears to be faster than walking, and probably would be cheaper than riding.

You'll be dying out there without a cart to sit in. Those mountain/resort courses play slow x10.

That....is really cool. Couple of things though: the kickstand is not adequate I think, looks like it may sink into the ground and tip the bike over. Needs a basket on the front for beverage and scorecard. Needs fenders too for spray control.

I noticed in Australia that no one used a cart, and I heard second hand that you have to prove a disability to be able to use a cart at most clubs. Everyone had bag buggies.

Obviously bikes are not for mountain courses, but I do see potential for a new class of speed golf. Who's up for 18 holes in 90 minutes?

I can see speed golf on bikes turning into bike polo or hockey with speed players hitting the ball while still moving on the bike. Also, I'm wondering if the courses with the bikes would allow someone to bring their own bike to use.
