A weird warmup that works...

Let me first say that I have a fast swing and I enjoy hitting the ball far, and I've recently found a swing that really makes it smooth and quick.  But the way I warmup might be odd, I don't think I've really seen many people do what I do.  It starts normal in that I stretch my arms and legs, then go to arm circles, and make sure all my joints are properly cracked.  Then I'll take 2 clubs and make very slow swings focusing on the muscles and warming them to the swing.  Then when I feel a little looser, this is when I take it up 200% full throttle.  I'll take my driver on a hill, with the club head hovering over the ground and swing out of my shoes.  I really want to focus during this practice on making very fast swings.  The reason I do this, is to get my muscles going and let myself know how fast I can swing.  I'm only taking a few swings with it, NOT hitting balls.  And when I go back to my normal swing, I go to my rhythm and tempo and hit balls, and my swing feels loose and fast.  The other reason I like it, is that my fault right now is too much lower body on the down swing, and this helps me get my arms through.

Any thoughts?

I would never do that (the 200% swing) but if you're playing off 2 then do what works for you.  I tend to just stretch and get blood flowing to my legs, stretch shoulders etc.  Make sure my torso and hips are good to turn.

I've taken a few things from Jiminez's routine including the side to side knee dance.
