I've gone to a cart bag and my current pull cart's straps are incredibly short. Anyone encountered this problem before? Did you just jimmy it up with bungee cords or replace the straps? They're Velcro so I'm looking to see where I can get new longer straps.

Mine are OK, but I use a bungee anyway to keep the bag from rotating.  What cart did you get?

The straps on my cart are bungee (which is awesome). You could probably jury rig some sort of extension if you don't want to or can't replace the straps.

When I walk at my home course, I typically rent a pull cart.  They all have to short of straps, and my bag is not overly big.  I typically can get them to velcro shut, but just barely.

Sounds like an excuse to get a new cart. ;-)

Ace hardware has nylon strapping material, velcro, and buckles to custom make your own straps if that interests you.

What interests me is getting something like velcro onto my cart for when I walk. In any given round, I have to figure out where to put my glove when I'm not using it (or them, as I usually alternate among two) to allow it to air out -- otherwise I'll usually sweat through a glove. How tough would it be to get velcro pieces onto my (push) cart?

Any Walgreens or office store should have sticky back velcro in the stationary department. Peel and stick whichever side you need- hooks or loops. Or, you can just do what I do and use the straps on the bag to put the gloves on. they should wrap around the strap, close the velcro and it's done.

I'll try the office supply route. The straps on my bag don't have any velcro on them, sadly, and they're somewhat hidden by how the bag sits on my push cart. Either way, this should be much better than the other approaches I've been trying. Thanks!

You don't need velcro ON the straps, the strap is like your arm, just close the glove around the strap. the flap should close with the strap passing thru the upper part of the opening.
