The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: pull draw
I'd love to get back to you with some details, but at 30 FPS and with a swing as solid as yours, it's tough to find the details because they're a degree here or a half a degree there.
If I have the time soon I'm going to look at your videos more in depth. I didn't see any typical pull-draw moves - your hips and torso aren't staying closed too long, your rate of closure is normal, grip looks slightly strong but not a lot), etc.
First, great swing you have there!!!
The only thing that I see is, that 2nd video it does look like your feet set up slightly closed compared to your shoulders and hips. I am wondering if you are thinking its a pull draw due to your feet line. Not sure if the camera angle throws it off, but the feet do look a tad closed. Not sure if I would worry about it. That shot the ball does look like it starts right and draws back towards your target.
I second this. Great swing, thanks for sharing. We have very few scratch/plus guys that have been willing to share their swing here, so thank you. Any chance you could just film about and hour of your swing @virtuoso just for us to watch for pure enjoyment?
I dream of a day when my swing looks this sweet. I will not pretend I can offer any useful advice. I do have one question though. Doesn't look like you're swinging a wedge, maybe a 6i or 7i? But your swing is sweet and smooth. Looks like you're not trying at all (in a good way). Is that (or was it at some point) a conscious thing, or has that always been your natural tempo?

Anyway, here's my take. Comparing you to Mac since I know you like his swing.
Obviously you have a very good swing, good structure, dynamics. Camera angle is a little off here but I'm seeing the shaft get a bit steep on the downswing, think this is contributing to the pull draws. Need more beta torque
Shaft pointing just inside the ball, at this point in the swing I generally like to see the shaft point just outside the ball.
Your upper and lower centers "drift" off the ball and even though you get plenty of rotation I think this translation causes you to "tug" on the grip from the top of the backswing to the beginning of the downswing (4-5). This starts to pull the elbows apart and steepen the shaft. Obviously we aren't talking a huge amount but enough IMO that every once in a while you'll get a face that is too square or a little left.
Can even see a little daylight in the right pic, between your right elbow and torso.
Right pic, centers stay centered. I think with the translation of your centers (even though it's not a lot) causes you to "lag it" and pull on the grip which pulls the elbows apart making it tough to control the face closure. So I would recommend you feel like the head stays centered between your feet on the backswing and that the elbows stay closer together on the downswing. Right arm/elbow will feel more externally rotated on the downswing.
Would love to hear your thoughts as well, even if you disagree with me. I know you know your biomechanics stuff.

mvmac, good stuff buddy. I agree with all of that. The move off the ball is mixed in with my trigger and I've had a hard time eradicating it. the bain of my golfing existence is not getting my pelvis back left enough so i could get some axis tilt and I have zero side bending. Both of those make me look like the hunchback of notre dame coming down, and has led to all sorts of nasty things being translated out to the arms at the bottom and through the ball.
Let me work on that a little and then give me another side-by-side with the sensei. Thanks for taking the time to give me your insight.
