Hello,

I am in need of a few tips on correcting my slice when using my driver.  I believe my swing path is from outside in, causing a nasty slice that really derails my game mentally.  I have been working on keeping my head still but I have a few two many things going on in my head and it makes for a rough swing.  I was hoping for one thing that I can really work on to hopefully simplify my swing to help keep my ball in the fairway off the tee.

Thank you all for your help.

Rocky

I agree that the path is probably too much Inward, good chance the weight isn't far enough forward. When the weight is back, or not forward enough, it's easy for the path to get across the ball.

I been working on keeping my shoulder blades closed to the visual alignment of the fairway, This has helped me keep from going inside-out and keeping my swing path inside-DTL.

I pretend there is a water bottle just forward and right of my ball (I am right handed) and I try to hit the water bottle as I clear my hips ... looking at the ball the whole time ... golfing seems to be a game of opposites

Disclaimer:

Works for me, but I have a very small capacity for thought ... may not work for anyone else ...  and I am a high handicapper ... in golf too.
