Adam will be fine. Putting wasn't the only reason he was slumping a few years back. His ball striking and short game weren't sharp, either. He's fixed those areas. Steve Williams has helped a lot with reading the greens and I think will help him once he switches back to the regular putter.

Also, curious what the rule is on the long putter. If it's not touching your body, are you still going to be allowed to use it? Because with long putters like Adam has, you can still use those things without it anchored against your body. The belly putters are definitely a goner.

The putters themselves are perfectly legal. An anchored stroke is not. As long as you don't anchor it, you can use a broomstick or a belly with no problems. The stroke is what is being banned, not the putter itself.

True, forgot about that. It'll be interesting to see what he does. It wouldn't surprise me to see him go counter-balance rather than sticking with the broom, just unanchored.
