I need help finding new clubs

I'm a beginner and need something forgiving. I was thinking the Callaway RAZR x HL, Callawat X-20, or TaylorMade Burner 2.0. All are around $200. Any recommendations?

The Callaway X-22's are probably available at a similar price by now, even if slightly used.

I had the x20s but changed last year to amp cells My dad now uses them and we have nothing but good things to say. Like someone else said. X22 might be a better option

The X-22 is sort of a later model of the X-20, and came in two versions. I think the X-22 was sort of superceded by the X-Hot, even though they were available at the same time. I think the X-22's were slightly more forgiving than the X-20's. I have never played them, but have hit them in hitting booths and they felt pretty good.

If I were to buy my clubs over I'd probably get a set of Taylormade Rocketblades.  Whether they would be a good intro club or not I'm not sure but they were my #2 choice when testing clubs at the store last summer.

Acer makes some great clubs similiar to Callaway. Way less and you could upgrade to a better shaft for the same money. A set of Acer heads is less than 100 on ebay. If I had to have brand name gear I would buy the 588 MT, very forgiving.

The X20 and the X22 irons were both in Maltby's Ultra Game Improvement category.

One difference: The X20s had a brush nickel finish, while the X22s had a chrome finish. The X20s won't show bag wear as much, and won't flash reflections on sunny days.

As for @Dave2512, all Cleveland 588 series irons went into price break in this spring. Good deals available. I tried the MTs with a lighter steel shaft in January, and they really flew well. The 4i felt as smooth as a 7i.

Yeah @WUTiger ies is good stuff and on sale now, about $62.00 a club new with the stock Traction 85 shaft. I use the 588 TT and I have a few Altitude's, absolutely love the TT and the mix and match design of the series. Wouldn't mind trading my TT 5i for an MT.

I have sets of the latter two clubs in your list. They are pretty good clubs, and really lift the ball in the air. Never tried the RAZR X HL, but I imagine they would be similar. Newer clubs are going to be 3x the cost, and if you plan to improve your swing you will need new clubs anyway.
