New green progression - Page 4

I am absolutely fascinated by this thread.  Thanks for posting.  Glad to see business is steady enough to keep the doors open.  Nice work.

Yeah the only thing that has a chance is if some poa seeds ended up in there. I would consider the nursurey green it wouldnt cost that much. you only need 6 inches of top mix since you are not putting in any cups.

Yeah it's amazing how that much bare ground can fill it like that. Also amazing how complete that winter kill was and how places that we haven't touched yet are still dead.

Like this back tee box that we aren't using that I took a picture of yesterday.

The greens are filled in pretty well except 18 (and it doesn't lack much).

Plugged areas now puttable.

Number 15.

And 18 that we started playing on Saturday.

I'm sure that it has been a lot of work but the results speak for themselves. Must be rewarding to see your efforts paying off.

Hoping we don't ever have to repeat it. :-D Since we see it everyday it even surprises me when I look at the difference from the early pics and how much filled in.

I'm just glad that now I'm making some putts and when I miss it's my fault instead of not knowing if it was me or the green.

There have been more golfers the last couple of weeks and we are hoping for a good holiday weekend this week.

Sooner or later. ;-)

All of this rain we are getting every afternoon is really growing the fairways and rough. Having to mow much of the Bermuda rough in granny low and go over it twice to keep it from looking like a hayfield.
