I was just watching the Deutche Bank Championship, and watched Camillo's drive on the 18th. He has a tiny backswing, but then just whips through extremely fast on the downswing. Do you like his swing or think it is not rhythmic enough?

His swing works for him. It's really amazing how quick he moves.

I think it's a pretty bad swing. But whatever works. -8 doesn't lie.

There are a ton of pros who have very short backswings. J.B. Holmes is another.

I make mental notes of these whenever I see them. That way, when I'm playing and some random pairing partner wants to tell me that my backswing is too short and I'll never hit a good shot this way, I can bring up people who hit it quite well with a short backswing.

I like his swing alot. To me it looks like he addresses the ball with very square shoulders and feet, but i think his tempo is nice. He hits it pretty far too

I was always told to beware the man with a dysfunctional swing or grip because he's found a way to make it work. A low number doesn't lie no matter how you look at it though, even if he did it with a toothpick or with a one-armed swing.

I have a similar swing regarding backswing length. I swing no further then say 10:30 and i have no trouble distance wise.

Although being 6'5 i dont really need to swing it back alot to get decent speed!

I like Camillo, deffo one for the future!

I like it, he hits the ball long, and it's good for consistant ball striking

I think the guy is a fruit. I realize this has nothing to do with his swing, but I just don't like him. Or his swing.
