R9 Supertri driver head

So yesterday I was at the course and I walked into the trees to use the facilities only to see a clubhead laying in the leaves. So I pick it up and it's a 10.5 R9 Supertri driver head. I've not looked at any of the adjustable TM drivers but it seems that someone tossed the head into the woods after the shaft broke or something but there is no remnants of the shaft at all. It Looks like the shaft would be held in by a screw or something through the bottom of the club? Just curious if this would be worth selling without a shaft or if I should just try to get a shaft for it? Or, just toss it in the trash?

Sell it, sure.

You'll probably only get around $20 for it.

Or maybe even inquire/turn it in to the clubhouse?  Possibly someone could be wondering where in the hell their driver head dissappeared to.....

Or possibly, it's cracked somewhere and was tossed for a reason.

I doubt someone is wondering where it is because of where I found it isn't near where it could be accidentally lost, but it is possible there is a crack maybe. I've looked it over pretty well and there are no visible issues.

A weird story . But I wish I was as Lucky as you are, the R9 supertri stays my favourite driver 's head of all times, and I Keep playing it those days. I broke two of them from 2010 (the metal breaks on the crown, as it often does with big hitters)  so I m still in search for best price good condition Supertri heads. Though my last one is still in good shape. I ll certainly buy one or two more as it becomes tougher to find in very good condition here in France.

My thinking is that TM was at his peak with the making of this head, and none of the followers are even better, for me as I tried all of them as a Demoman for an other OEM.

The only issue is the fragility that pertains to all R9 heads.

Opinions???

What kind of shape is it in? I'd be interested in it.

Or I've got a couple shafts I'd sell you for it for a good price. 1 steel True Temper XL Lite and 1 Aldila VS Proto 70s.

I would probably just send it to you for the price of shipping, don't feel right selling something I found to anyone in case there is some sort of internal issue with it. From the face wear it seems like the owner hit some pretty fat shots and that may have caused a snapped shaft, hard to tell though.

I love this driver, I have two of them set up identical. I have tried the newer ones and they are no better maybe worse for me, so for less than $100 on ebay for replacements I'll stick with this model for sure.

Really? That's mighty generous! I'd certainly be interested if you still have it. I've got a couple shafts just itchin' to be swung! a1_smile.gif

Not a problem, like I said, I have no idea if there are any internal problems so I wouldn't feel right taking money for it. Just let me know if it was any good when you get a chance to use it

Good for him then, haha, it's doing nothing but sitting around now. Better that he gets it and it works perfectly for free than to pay and it's busted.

Rofl, you must like them more than I do. I prefer bratwurst, preferably cheese ones.
