Hello, everyone! I feel like I am forced to start this thread although I have had no desire to do so at all.

There are two reasons for this.

First, I would like to warn everyone that the way halpennygolf (Ireland) do their business is extremely unfair and you should refrain from having any business with them.

Secondly,  I would like to kindly ask for your advice on what to do next.

Here is the story in brief:

On April 4th 2014 I have ordered a set of irons from their internet store. The irons were a present for a friend of mine who lives in Ireland. I paid everything including the shipping costs in full. The result was that they haven't delivered the clubs, but even worse they haven't returned the money back to me (which is almost USD 1000). I have sent them e-mails and have given them multiple calls without any result. They quite simply didn't reply to the e-mails and when I gave them calls they were asking for my phone number but never called back.

I am really shocked to find out that there are scammers in the well-developed countries like  Ireland as well.

I would appreciate any advice but first and foremost, please, don't have any business with those guys as this can be really dangerous to your wallet and mental health.

Did you pay with a Credit Card?

If so call the Credit Card company and have them put in a dispute/hold on the funds for this order. Not sure in Ireland but it is against the law in the US to bill a Cc until the order ships they can put a hold on the funds until the order ships but that is all they can do.

This.

File a chargeback/dispute due to services not rendered. You can file these internationally with no problem by calling the issuer of your card.
