Anybody have an opinion (good or bad) on this ball?

I picked up a few freebies that had Dick's Sporting Goods logos on them last week at a fund-raising tournament and played one yesterday for the first time. I really liked it – felt great off the club face and seemed to spin really well on the greens, and it was still in real good shape when the round was over.

It's in the price range (about $30 for a dozen) that I don't mind paying for balls. Once I get into the 40s per dozen, I start worrying about not losing them and I believe that has a negative effect on my game.

@ditchparrot19 ,

Your opinion is as good as anyone else's.  Play them for a while and let us know how you like them.  If you wrote a review in the Equipment section, that would be really helpful.

Right now Dicks has then on sale for $40 for 2 dozen.  I have been playing them this season and they are excellent balls, very long, good feel, good around the greens, and very durable.  Right now they are sharing my bag with the TM Project (a) which has somewhat more spin (for my swing) around the greens but does not have quite the length of the U/3 (85-90 SS).

The U/3's are a terrific offering at a great price - I have had some great rounds playing them.

Yeah, I just bought three dozen online from Dick's (it was presented as a buy two dozen, get one dozen free deal). Played a 9-hole round with one this evening and am still loving them -- really impressed with the spin on short pitches.

The Dick's here had U/3 on clearance for $16 a dozen and then had an additional promotion for buy 2 get 1 free so I got 36 of these things for $32.  I've been playing them all year so far and can't complain.  I picked up a box of U/4 that were on clearance for $20 as well and couldn't tell any difference between those and the U/3 so as far as I'm concerned stick with the U/3s.

So did I.....got the last 3 doz in last years packaging just before the new boxes came out....$15/doz plus buy two get one so I got 3 doz for $30! However, I am behind on my golf balls and have not yet played them. Plan on using them this summer. Been gaming e6; B330RXS; U4x.
