Did you get tickets to the 2015 Masters?

Just got an email saying that I was not selected for tickets to The Masters. a4_sad.gif

Did any Sand Trappers get selected for tickets?

Not selected...

I didn't realize they send the taunting email saying I was not selected, so when I saw the email come through I got excited thinking I had them.......WRONG!

I have not received my email yet. I hope I signed up for them the right way.

I got my reply, no dice. We are still in for the practice round tickets which will be announced mid July.

None here. Hoping for practice found tickets. Been trying for 12 years, only selected once.

No x 4 years = i haz a sad

Nope. Oh well. I think I'd actually prefer going to the practice rounds. I'd imagine it would be (slightly) less crowded. And I'd still be able to see the course, which is why I'm really interested in this.

Received my rejection this evening

I've never "applied" for masters tickets. What is the process for trying to get tickets. I didn't even know you could get rejected, but i suppose with the number of people trying...do they just choose randomly? Enlighten Me.

Nope.

Waiting on the practice round drawing though. Honestly, I'd rather get that than a tournament day.

The Old Rich White Guys Stuff Club?  Lol... my guess is they do a full background check and require 3 character references, blood sample, fingerprints and a video explaining why you feel you should receive tickets to ever step foot onto their hallowed grounds.

LOL, Wouldn't be surprised. They probably expect an interview about your ambitions and goals.

The selection is simply "random" and I put "random" in quotes because that's their wording. Basically, you register online by filling out their application form which simply requests that you provide your Name, Address, Phone, Email, Birth Date, whether you would like Tournament Rounds/Practice Rounds and how many of each ticket type (limited to 4, I think?). I also think it may have asked for SSN# as well, but I can't quite remember.

Anyway, I got the damn declined email again. 4 years and running :( Now I feel guilty because I would not fly to GA for a practice round unless it was Wednesday. I would likely give away the practice round if I won tickets to any other day.

Nope. Still hoping for practice round tickets. I'm close enough to Augusta to drive down for a practice round. Especially if it's Wednesday.

Nope, still in for practice rounds but I won't take them if I am chosen.
