My game, like most goes up and down. I usually average about 260 on my drives. However in the last few weeks, my first drive is snapp hooked to the left and from there on out 1/2 of my drives are getting drilled into the ground. I still get 150+ yards on the drive (some of them).

I know that as I hit the drives more poorly I tend to tee my ball down just below the crown of my 460CC driver.

and I tend to fidget with it until the end of the round. This usually happens when I hit the driver poorly.

But oddly enough I do not have this issue off the tee with any other club. nor do I have this issue with any club out of the fairway.

Although I tend fade long irons

and pull short irons and wedges to my left.

I know I have been trying to correct my inside out swing.

My know it all father insists it is because I "pull my head".

However I know that I tend to top my 3 wood, because I put the ball too far in my stance and try to kill it!

My questions are is this drive fail a result of:

teeing the ball down too much?

ball too forward in stance (usually aligned inside left big toe)?

rolling my wrists over to quickly causing the clubface to close?

Tempo?

Swinging too hard?

and is there any fix that someone like me, who plays 9 a week and has little time to get to a range, can use to be consistent?

I have exactly the same thing going on with me right now.  Hoping for some sage advice.

I played 9 yesterday. Hit 6 out of 9 fairways with drives ranging from 247 to 268 (not bad considering it was a wet, rainy day).

I tee'd the ball up leaving 1/4 to a 1/3 above the head of the crown.

I slowed my back swing down ALOT.

Hinged my wrists at the top of my swing

I kept my left arm stiff

and swung through.

now the issue I have, is snap hooking or my ball flight heading left.
