Meh. Maybe it was because I didn't use good butter. I'll give it a try at a store but not converted. Anyone put butter in their coffee?

Nope,

If I get coffee I usually like half and half with some sugar. Sometimes a little honey works really good as well. Also throw in a pinch of salt to really make the flavors pop.

I don't think so, but first thing in the morning, who knows what I've accidentally put in. :-)

Sounds as if you've got some really bad beans to do that to coffee.

I take mine black, but then I purchase the beans from some guy in Mass, grind the beans in the morning and have the tour custom coffee maker.  :-)

I've cut my alcohol to almost nothing, so the art of brewing coffee and espresso is a pleasure.

.... I don't even know what to say about that

And I've never heard of putting butter in coffee, that's just insane. I think someone saw "breakfast blend" and went a bit nuts.

I don't even really like coffee so I doubt I'd put salt in to amplify the flavor of it.

Butter ??   Is this something people actually do on a regular basis?  I suppose I am not against trying it.  What does it do to the taste?

Typically I drink my coffee black, but sometimes I will add a bit of real maple syrup if I have it handy.

I guess I shouldn't be that surprised at butter.. Already put cream or milk sometimes... So butter is from the same family I guess...

Wait no.. I'm going back to my original post...

Gross!
