Smoking Woods Suddenly Can't Hit Irons?

Okay so out of the blue about a month ago I completely lost all ability to hit my irons. I can destroy my woods, I've always picked my irons and naturally I hit my irons incredibly high but I've always still been a big hitter. My 6 used to be a mile high and float 200 yards, now I either toe my irons and it goes 50 yards or I hit what feels like a pure shot and I watch in horror as my ball stops carrying and hits about two clubs shorter than normal.I have tried every drill imaginable with no success. I'm more comfortable hitting 250+ yards out than I am 150. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

You might consider posting a swing video. We have any number of qualified swing instructors that should be able to give you some insight....

Me too. Its soo bad when I first started it was the opposite. After months of driver woods practice now I cant hit any other than like 9 and weges. My problem is hitting down I cant get the concept and I cant get in a comfortable position. It would help if I knew how the body and muscles should feel. Shouldi swing free with limited muscle flex should they be loose should I feel like my arms are closer to my body. Lol I think to much to that's another problem.
