I Veered Off Topic and a Post was Deleted

I've been frequently this site periodically and on several occasions my posts have been edited and erased. Seems as if every time I say something that the moderators of this site disagree if disapprove of they simply erase/delete the content. Anybody else have this problem on this site?

Usually spammers, trolls and jerks receive this treatment, the mods/admins do a great job of it! I'm not suggesting you are one of the above... But it's probably likely if what you say is true?

They don't magically disappear. Your most recent post continued to veer off-topic. It was removed as off topic. The topic was not to get into a pissing match over terminology. The topic was to help someone play better golf. Your perception is far from the truth.

How is discussing what a push draw is or how it's defined off topic? It's all in the nature of discussion and some healthy debate can't hurt anybody. It's seems to be off topic only if you disagree;-) I don't get it?

It's not a debate or a disagreement. You define it one way; we define it another. Once you understood how we were using the term (and us you), there was nothing more to discuss there. Move on.

Pissing match? I was offering my uneducated opinion trying to help the poster and the convo turned into definitions of push ect, but still totally relevant to he conversation. It appears the issue is that you don't like any debate lol

Nope. That's not it. I've explained my position. We love debate. I detest wasting time, however. There has to be a point. Again, once we understand how we are each using the term, we move on.

I wasn't defining it anyway. I was offering multiple points of view. We can move on no problemo but arbitrarily deleting posts you disagree with is a bit censory

It is not arbitrary, nor was it anything with which I disagreed.

My impression of you is that you're here just to argue, particularly with @mvmac and myself. Maybe that's completely true. Maybe it's not. But it's my impression.

You're doing it in this thread, arguing in spite of (and ignoring) the reasons and answers I've already given you. So, I'm locking this thread. If you have questions in the future, send a PM. We're honest. We'll give you the reason.

Edit: Guess I was right. @Wangus94 is yet another @RadarNinja account, and he's also PutterKilledTheDream on GolfWRX, where you will likely find him bashing, attacking, and making up lies about this site, myself, Mike, etc.

Among the lies:

  • We teach everyone to hit up. It's not true. He asserts that hitting up leads to loss of control (which it can), but missed the many times we said we assess that on an individual basis - if the loss of control outweighs the distance gains, we look to find the sweet spot of distance/control.
  • We published his personal information. The ONLY "information" we ever published about him was his name. That's it. His name… It makes he cares so much about having his NAME attached to his posts.
  • That his posts were edited, deleted, etc. It happened on rare occasions, like this one above, where he was asked to move on and failed to do so.
  • Of course, there are plenty of lies by omission. There are the many insulting, name-calling, threatening PMs he sent. There are the multiple accounts he created. There are the lies he told as this @Wangus94 account, where he pretended not to trust in radar numbers and that he was a 16 handicap.
