Pure grips - Pure Pro or DTX?

Thread Starter

Hello,

Im in the business to buy the Pure grips but I'm debating wether to buy the Pure pro or the DTX.. Any feedback?

I played Multicompound and right now the Tour velvet.. And I can't try these grips anywhere near me.. But I still want to give these a go..

So post your feedback please, any tips are appreciated!

I went from the MultiComps to the Pros directly, but if you really like the grittier, more textured feel, the DTX is good. It's the "full-cord replacement," so it may be what you like.

Why not get one of each and try for yourself?

The Pure Pro is comparable to the Tour Velvet and the DTX is sort of like the NDMC in the sense that it is a cord replacement. I played the Pure P2 Wraps for a while, and I just ordered a set of red DTX grips. If you prefer a smoother feel that still offers the same comfort and feedback of the tour velvet, go with the pros. If you prefer something a little tackier and a little rougher, more towards a cord, go with the DTX.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately my wife took my clubs to get regripped for my birthday and had the CP2 pros put on. She didn't like the colors. Ugh. I guess I can't be too mad at her but will have to wait till next regrip or if I absolutely hate the cp2's. The salesman told her they were the step up from my velvets.
