Unless they could should me how they cleaned it, I'm not sure I would try!

Ha... for some reason I read "would you drink out of the claret jug?"

As for as what I would drink out of it... possibly a good Scotch, maybe some beer.

A better question would be, what did John Daly put in the Claret Jug? As for me, scotch sounds like a good choice. Or when I'm out on the course I could put water or Gatorade in it.

That was my first thought.

I wouldn't mind sipping a Jack Nicholas lemonade while holding it in front of the world media though. :-D

If it was clean, maybe a fine 20 year old Port. I cannot drink Scotch or whisky since that "incident" freshman year of college.

I definitely wasn't drinking scotch freshman year. Not good scotch (or any good alcohol for that matter), anyway.

In college I would have thrown some Jag in there like Rory and his friends did. If I had Rory's money though...I just feel like you'd have to throw Cristal in at some point.

I would then mix a Arnold Palmer and bourbon combo. I love that mix.

If I was from Ireland like Rory, I would tweet about throwing some poitín in the cup.

I finished playing golf one day last week and I ordered an "Arnold Palmer" (iced tea and lemonade). One of my playing partners ordered a "John Daly". I had never heard that before and I asked him what that was. He said, "Same thing you are having, but with a double shot of vodka".

For the sake of disinfecting the jug, most likely some smooth southern moonshine.

Either Single Malt or Bourbon Whiskey. I am a fan of both.

    • Taking your dispersion and distance in consideration I analyzed the 4 posible ways to play the hole, or at least the ones that were listed here. I took the brown grass on the left as fescue were you need to punch out sideways to the fairway and rigth of the car path to be fescue too.  Driver "going for the green"  You have to aim more rigth, to the bunker in order to center your shotzone in between the fescue.  Wood of 240 over the bunkers I already like this one more for you. More room to land between the fescue. Balls in the fescue 11% down from 30% with driver. Improve of score from 4.55 to 4.40. 4 iron 210 yards besides the bunkers.    Also a wide area and your shot zone is better than previous ones. This makes almost the fescue dissapear. You really need to hit a bad one (sometimes shit happens). Because of that and only having 120 yards in this is the best choice so far. Down to 4.32 from 4.40. Finally the 6 Iron 180 yards to avoid all trouble.    Wide area an narrow dispersion for almost been in the fairway all the time. Similar than the previous one but 25 yards farther for the hole to avoid been in the bunkers. Average remains the same, 4.33 to 4.32.  Conclusion is easy. Either your 4iron or 6 iron of the tee are equaly good for you. Glad that you made par!
