I keep losing my ball markers in my golf bag... I tried to keep them in with my tees and repair tools, but they get beat up and still are a pain to find... any thoughts???

I have a belt clip thing that I bought for $15 or so when I first started golf. It has a ball-mark tool, room for two tees, and a quarter-sized ball marker magnet. That's what I use. I also have a nicer ball-mark tool that has a similarly sized magnet. No problems with them running off in the bag.

I keep my tees, plastic repair tools and some change in a ziplock bag. Sometimes, the change is used for ball markers. I have a small velvet pouch I also keep in the ziplock bag, in which I keep a couple of special repair tools and ball markers.

I also like to use random round things for markers, like the punch out from a metal electrical box. No biggie if it gets scratched or lost.

I have a small, cloth bag that's no more than 2x3 inches.....I think a spare pair of Oakley lenses came in it. I keep my repair tool and my ball markers in it. My wedding band goes in it while I'm playing. It stays in a dedicated pocket in my bag along with my tees. Always easy to find.

I have a hat clip. I also keep my repair tools, tees and ball markers in separate small zippered bags. I've gotten lots of them over the years in goodie bags. The hat clip is excellent. Just reach up and get it. Magnetized.

MI keep mine in the valuables pocket in my golf bag. The system works this way. Start of round, place wallet car keys cell phone valuables pocket and remove pitch repair tool with ball marker into pants pocket. Then reverse at the conclusion of the round. I also sometimes wear a hat with built in marker as well. Since nothing else is stored in this pocket it is quick and easy to find. I have a sun mountian sync bag btw.

This is a relatively small three zipper pouch.   I keep tees, divot repair tools and ball markers in it.   I have a D-ring and attach it to my towel ring.

I just put it in a medium sized pocket on the side of the bag. Deep enough that I can't pull it out when getting other stuff in there.

What marker do you use that get banged up? I only use metal ones and they couldn't care less.

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
