Thinking maybe you had a hoarder streak after keeping a few too many old clubs laying around the garage? Think again!

Placed in the Orange County section of Craigslist and updated since, the seller lists just about every conceivable brand as available from the, uh, collection. There is a catch: the buyer must take it all. That's 20,000 clubs for $7,500, which, as the seller notes, amounts to 38 cents a club. The 50 bags mentioned are thrown in as part of the package based on the seller remarks.

The reader who tipped us off to this sale had a friend stop in for a visit and reported that this club collector "had irons everywhere at two houses, two garages, inside a truck (with flat tires) and in a shed out back too. Very remarkable in all my years of collecting."

My wife would kill me if that were my garage...but hoarding is a serious disorder. Ever watch that show Hoarders ? It's ruined some people's lives.

Sounds like a good deal. Would be interesting if a First Tee or some group could snag them.

Hey, how'd you get a picture of my garage?

He should keep a long putter outside just to open that garage door with.

Well after seeing that garage I feel much better now. We have a home, that we lease out since we now do the full time RVing thing. When we cleaned the place out, and put stuff in storage was when I found out just how much golf stuff I had accumulated over the years.

I let my oldest Grandson sell most it on EBAY, with the agreement we split 70% for him and 30% for me since he would do all the work. After 6 months of selling golf stuff he gave me $5K in cash for my part. With his part he bought he a Vanagon, and hit the road with a girl friend to see America before heading off to college.

A whole bunch of Tour Edge golf stuff......

That ad has been on CL for the last 9 months that I know of. I have serious doubts that anyone would buy them, but ..hey, you never know..

That was my first thought too.

    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
    • Day 96 (18 Mar 24) - Continued work with the Divot Board with the GW and hard foam balls.  Focused on small target/small miss…setup to hit target about 30yds out - success if it hit within 6’ circle of target, fail if outside.  Had decent success averaging about 3 out of 4 (hitting in groups of four).
