They are pretty ugly for a better players iron.

Hmm... I thought they looked pretty nice myself, but aesthetics are always very subjective.

Luckily for you, they're already sold out, so any temptation is gone, haha.

I've always thought less is more when it comes to iron designs, with a good example being Mizuno's MP-4 irons, or Titleist's and Cleveland's irons. I do like Wilson Staff irons too (their FG Tour 100 irons are a bit more flashy but they are gorgeous). With those Nike irons, it looks like there are three different finishes on the back; looks kind of sloppy, IMO.

I think they were going for a garish "prototype" sorta look. Right rough and angular. Then again, Rory and Tiger aren't exactly industrial designers. ;-)

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
    • Day 1: Spent some time hitting some balls. Working on my hips and a “soft” and straight trail arm.
