Going from Cobra S2 Irons to what???

I am currently gaming a set of Cobra S2 irons (4-PW) with Nippon NS Pro stiff shafts. I am looking at getting some new irons. I would like to get more towards a players iron without going to a blade. When I bought the S2s I wasn't a great ball striker and now I am, so I could easily handle more of a players iron. I am considering Taylormade Tour Preferred MC, Cobra Bio Cell +, and Ping i25. Any thoughts??

Driver: Cobra Bio Cell 9.5 Stiff

3-Wood: Cobra Bio Cell 14.5 Stiff

3-Hybrid: Adams A3 Boxer 19 Stiff

Irons: Cobra Bio Cell + 4-PW Stiff

50 Wedge: Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 CB

54 Wedge: Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0

58 Wedge: Cleveland CG14

Putter: Odyssey White Ice #9

Yep agree with those, I'll add Titleist AP2's, Callaway Apex Pro or X2 Hot Pros.

I went from Cobra S2 irons to Mizuno MP-69s. Very happy. Hope to have them for 20 years. I bought the Cobras because my game was in poor shape and I wanted the stronger lofts plus higher launch. I took some lessons and practiced and got much better. When I was looking I wanted a blade that wouldn't kill me, and that was the Mizunos.

If you want to stick with Cobra , The s3 Pro Forged are very nice and I believe they can be had for cheap.

I've hit the MP-69s. They feel great. The only problem is that I get a lot of spin on the ball as it is and the Mizuno's add even more to a point where I cant control the spin. If I could hit them with less spin or if I could control the spin, I would go for them.

If you want to stick with Cobra, The s3 Pro Forged are very nice and I believe they can be had for cheap.

As far as the S3 forged goes, I cant find any new sets anywhere and I don't want to buy them used. I have hit them, and I hit them well. If I could find them new, I would get them.

      @boogielicious and I are definitely in for the Stay & Play and will need the extra night's stay on Friday.       Taking your dispersion and distance in consideration I analyzed the 4 posible ways to play the hole, or at least the ones that were listed here. I took the brown grass on the left as fescue were you need to punch out sideways to the fairway and rigth of the car path to be fescue too.  Driver "going for the green"  You have to aim more rigth, to the bunker in order to center your shotzone in between the fescue.  Wood of 240 over the bunkers I already like this one more for you. More room to land between the fescue. Balls in the fescue 11% down from 30% with driver. Improve of score from 4.55 to 4.40. 4 iron 210 yards besides the bunkers.    Also a wide area and your shot zone is better than previous ones. This makes almost the fescue dissapear. You really need to hit a bad one (sometimes shit happens). Because of that and only having 120 yards in this is the best choice so far. Down to 4.32 from 4.40. Finally the 6 Iron 180 yards to avoid all trouble.    Wide area an narrow dispersion for almost been in the fairway all the time. Similar than the previous one but 25 yards farther for the hole to avoid been in the bunkers. Average remains the same, 4.33 to 4.32.  Conclusion is easy. Either your 4iron or 6 iron of the tee are equaly good for you. Glad that you made par!
